Dr. Woo Young Chang did a great job, and so did the two other doctors he referred me to for the other parts of the process. All of my doctors were responsive and I appreciate their excellent work. Dr.Chang did my root canal yesterday and I was in and out. He is so efficient and he tells you what he's doing while he's in your mouth... which was nice. The staff is professional and friendly. The office is clean ... I even saw an air purifier. I was impressed. I'm already planning to return for my permanent restoration. If you're looking for an endodontist, look no further!!! More

Dr Chang and staff are AWESOME! Dr Chang put a temporary crown in without causing pain nor discomfort. She is very gentle, professional and explain every step of the process. More

Dr. Rothkopf is one the BEST dentist in DC, Va area.  I have been going to Dr. Rothkopf for 29 years. I’ve tried couple of other dentists close to home in Va but, they were just there to make money, not fix my teeth. Dr. Rothkopf is very sweet, patient and a great dentist. He actually cares about his patient’ teeth rather than making money. His staff is excellent, very welcoming, professional yet funny. I love Nancy, Gail, Tammy and (hygienist) Sue. That team has been together for many years, that is another plus. I am so happy that my dad took me to Dr. Rothkopf at early age, or else I wouldn’t have any teeth now.My root canals, crowns, fillings that were done by Dr. Rothkopf are still intact. I would never go to another dentist as long as he is in business and I have teeth. Good doctors are a blessing! And Dr. D. Rothkopf is one of my blessings. More

Dr. Rothkopf is one the BEST dentist in DC, Va area. I have been going to Dr. Rothkopf for 29 years. Wow, so glad I found him! He's calm, super friendly and conservative with your teeth--meaning he doesn't create fake dental problems to make money (a huge, common problem I've encountered with multiple dentists since we have a pay for performance health care system). I'd gone to another dentist who told me that I had 9 cavities, 3 of which would need at least crowns and 2 of those would probably be root canals. Skeptical, I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Rothkopf who told me I have...1 cavity. None of the rest is necessary. What a relief to find someone who isn't drilling away my good teeth to make more money. I had something very similar happen when I lived elsewhere and am so relieved to have an ethical dentist I trust now. Be careful, folks, some dentists just want to make more money and will invent problems to make their boat payment.The staff is super friendly and amusing--I'll let you see for yourself. I called and got an appointment really quickly. All around great. More

I am 28 years old and have had 3 root canals and a dental implant, in addition to a mouthful of fillings. I'm also undergoing orthodontic treatment for the second time. Needless to say, after all of this nonsense I'm a bit of a dental hypochondriac. I began seeing Dr. Rothkopf after a coworker referred me to him (I had a horrible experience with my previous dentist), and he's been extremely patient with my dental hypochondria and takes plenty of time to explain, in a non-condescending way, why my fears are unfounded and why my teeth are actually healthy. Several other reviewers have noted that Dr. Rothkopf is not a crook, and I'd like to echo this sentiment. Every single dentist I've ever visited in my life has JUMPED on the opportunity to do excessive work on my teeth given my disposition to drill/fill/attack any and all cavities to prevent further decay. Dr. Rothkopf is very honest and does not do any unnecessary dentistry even though he could honestly make a huge fortune off of me due to my paranoia!The receptionist is very polite and will always try to work you into his schedule. Also, he does very early appointments too (like, 7:30AM), which is great for folks with very busy schedules. I've also been very pleased with Dr. Rothkopf's referrals. It sometimes stinks to have to go to a specialist for things, but I appreciate that he doesn't want to take risks. Both the endodontist (for a root canal) and oral surgeon (for wisdom tooth removal) that Dr. Rothkopf referred me to were great.I am recognized and greeted warmly by everyone on staff each time I go in, and I've never had an issue with billing.
