I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lopez Driscoll’s for about four years and have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Lopez and her team. I feel the need to write an updated review after this week, where a series of visits that involved a dental emergency and some follow-up troubleshooting occurred. Dr. Lopez went above and beyond to fit me into a booked schedule (twice) and took the time to properly and thoroughly remedy the issues I was experiencing — spending as much time as needed to make sure she got things just right. Dr. Luz Lopez is one of those rare practices full of good people who deliver professional and astounding results. I recently went in to have a slight overbite corrected that was causing me extreme social anxiety. Dr. Luz really does know her stuff, you can tell she has been studying teeth since birth. She took one look inside my mouth and knew exactly what I had been feeling and why. She also explained to me what she was doing while she was working in mouth every step of the way. Just having her say 'ok i'm going to tap your tooth now' was so reassuring, especially if you get dentist anxiety like I do. Best dental practice I've ever been to (There's a reason she's nominated as a top dentist by her peers)I'll preface this review by saying I have a huge fear and hatred of going to the dentist due to terrible past experiences. However, I've never felt more comfortable and at ease in a dental chair in my life solely due to the easy-going and professional personality of Dr. Luz (I was so calm that I kept dozing off and closing my mouth in which Dr. Luz would remind me to keep my mouth open very politely). Also, never has a dentist described to me what exactly they were doing while they were doing it and this eased my nerves tremendously as I wasn't sitting listening to weird noises not knowing what was going on. I was also given a mirror to take glances at the work being done which I felt was a fun learning experience and made my time very enjoyable. Overall, would recommend to anyone looking for a calm, comforting, and caring dental experience. More
